In 2016, GURT piloted the idea of creating the Ukraine Civil Society Action Platform within the project “Building a membership based civil society network in Ukraine based on the GURT Resource Centre”, funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Estonia and implemented in partnership with the Network of Estonian Nonprofit Organisations (NENO). The project aims at sharing the experience between the partners in the fields of building and functioning of the CSOs network in Ukraine.

Workshop for the regional journalists: how to prepare a high-quality audio-podcasts

April 22-23, 2017 civil journalists-volunteers from five eastern Ukraine oblasts – Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhia, Lughansk and Kharkiv – had a great opportunity to enlarge their professional knowledge. Two-day workshop “Necessary skills to create a socially useful content” was organized for them in Kyiv. This event was conducted within the special media project “Information for conscious actions: hear the voice of people affected by the conflict in eastern Ukraine”, which is implemented by GURT Resource Centre and supported by the Media Development Fund of the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine.IMG_8214-2

TransForm GURT: Building Ukraine Civil Society Action Platform

Since May 2016, GURT Resource Centre in cooperation with Network of Estonian Nonprofit Organisations (NENO) implements the “TransForm GURT” project, funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Estonia. This cooperation aims to observe possibilities of establishing Ukraine Civil Society Action Platform according to European principles of managing and functioning. It will promote the intensification of civil society influence on different life areas in the country.

Vocational Education Reform: Ukrainian Government rolls out the model developed by GURT

TechSoup Ukraine: new opportunities for CSOs modernization

The usage of modern information and communication technologies is the key of NGO’s effective activity. Since 2016, GURT Resource Centre in cooperation with TechSoup has implemented Technology Assistance Program for Ukrainian Non-Profit Organizations, which is a real opportunity for the modernization of CSOs. Owing to this Program, the organizations can obtain software on special terms from the world leading donors.

Community development by using information and communication technologies: media report

On November 30, 2016, Panel discussion «Technologies for development: the efficient development of prospective communities in Ukraine» took place in Kharkiv. The event, which was initiated by Microsoft in cooperation with GURT Resource Centre, brought together directors and managers of the international and Ukrainian NGOs and the representatives of state authorities. All of them joined the event for the purpose of the collaborative search for new effective cooperation models for the development of every resident of communities in Ukraine.
